We
recognise that it's important to train ourselves in order to grow our
businesses. To do this, we need to keep our skills and business
awareness up to date. At Athena we offer members various types of
training.
Networking Skills Topic
During the lunch meeting one of the
essential networking skills will be
reviewed that you can implement
immediately at the meeting.
Business Support Topic
A Business Support Topic is presented to
each group during the business network
lunch meeting on a monthly basis.
The topics are based on the requirements
of the group members. This ensures
that the women in the group are getting
the business development support they
need to grow their businesses. We
encourage Athena members to present an
area of their expertise that would
benefit the members. Guest
speakers are also invited to the groups
where necessary to boost the skills of
the group.
New Member
Training
Every new member is invited to attend
New Member Training. We aim to
provide you with lots of information
that will help you get the most out of
your Athena membership.
We provide training on how to improve
your business networking skills.
We will show you how to get and pass on
quality business leads. We'll also
show you how to present your business
more effectively during your Monthly
Minute presentation.
This training is FREE and will be
available for each region on a monthly
basis over lunch. Once you have
become a member you will automatically
be invited to attend the next available
training course.

Athena have launched a series of TeleTraining modules.

Workshops
A full and comprehensive programme,
Business Success Strategies, has been
put together and has been especially
designed for women who are starting or
growing a business.
Each half day workshop is delivered at
exceptional value for just £75+VAT(£88.12)
and this fee includes a networking
lunch.
The workshops are facilitated by
trainers who have a reputation for
delivering results and have a proven
track record in personal and business
development.
