One of the cornerstones of success at Athena is the recognition that it’s important to train ourselves in order to grow our businesses. To do this, we need to keep our skills and business awareness up to date. At Athena we offer members various types of training.
Networking Skills Training
During the lunch meeting one of the essential networking skills will be reviewed that you can implement immediately at the meeting.
Business DevelopmentTraining
Business Development Training is presented to each group during the business networking meeting on a monthly basis. The topics are based on the requirements of the group members. This ensures that the women in the group are getting the business development support they need to grow their businesses. We encourage Athena members to present an area of their expertise that would benefit the members. Guest speakers are also invited to the groups where necessary to boost the skills of the group.
New Member Training
Every new member is invited to attend our New Member Training workshop Networking – ‘The Athena Way. We aim to provide you with lots of information that will help you get the most out of your Athena membership.
We provide training on how to improve your business networking skills. We will show you how to get and pass on quality business leads. We’ll also show you how to present your business more effectively during your Monthly Minute presentation.
This training is FREE and available in each Athena region. Once you have become a member you will automatically be invited to attend the next available training course.
Webinars
It isn’t always easy to leave the office for training so at Athena we deliver webinars in topical subjects. It means that you can train in the office or at home without travelling.
