Tracey is the Regional Director for The Athena Network in the Brighton and Hove areas.
Tracey has worked in both the travel and marketing sector prior to starting her own Financial Education business 3 years ago.
Genistar is the business that Tracey and her husband Scott have been building along with another Electrical Contracting business, City Electrical and Building Services.
Through their team effort and hard work both businesses are now very successful. The businesses have grown through building good relationships with clients who are happy to refer via word of mouth.
Now with the support of her husband and 2 young children, Tracey has her sights on more achievements through The Athena Network. Using the belief that by helping others you yourself can become even more successful she is now excited about launching the Athena Network on the South Coast.
By offering the chance to develop skills and to build a support system Tracey can see the opportunities The Athena Network can bring other like-minded business women.

Networking – everyone tells you that networking is the way forward, it’s the new “buzz” word in marketing. So I went out networking. After trying 3 different networking groups, I nearly gave up, thought that maybe all these marketing “gurus” were wrong. And then I discovered Athena!
If you’re new to networking, Tracey will give you all the support you need. If you’re an experienced networker then I believe that you’ll find the Athena experience a refreshing change. I joined the Athena Network almost two years ago when I started my business, and haven’t looked back. I was totally new to networking and not sure what to expect. The Athena meetings meant I met new people, gained a great deal of new knowledge through the training, and can now get up in front of a room full of people without shaking (well almost!) I have made long term contacts, who are constantly on the look out for opportunities for other members, able to give advice etc.
None of this would have been possible without the hard work and enthusiasm of Tracey and Michala, the Regional Directors. They put people at ease straight away, are encouraging, supportive and professional at all times.
My membership is due for renewal in July and I will have no hesitation in renewing it.
Athena is a great network of support for women: not only have I had some fantastic leads and work opportunities through my membership I now have women in any number of professions I can turn to for advice on (almost!) any subject!!
