Due to her exposure to a diverse mix of people, Stella is a natural communicator who understands people, their lives and motivations with ease.

Since being involved with The Athena Network, Stella has been directly involved in the ‘art of networking’ and has had the opportunity to connect with Athena members in a friendly and supportive environment. She has spent time encouraging ladies to get to know each other better whilst hosting the Cappuccino Connections networking sessions – which have proved to be a real success for Athena members and non-members alike.

Outside of Athena, Stella has just started her own fledgling business JUSfitness. JUS is an organisation dedicated to ensuring independent businesses & individuals can come together under one singular branded banner and offer the benefits of their collective expertise in a particular field. In this case, as JUSfitness, Stella has assembled a team of specialists offering products and services dedicated to holistic fitness, health, beauty and well being.

With a banking & fitness background, Stella has an extremely loyal and respected client base and has a real passion for helping people which she continues to do within Athena.

My first introduction to Athena was attending a Cappuccino Connections meeting – in fact this was probably my first ever step into the world of networking!  Stella was there to welcome me as being so eager I was the first to arrive.  Feeling a little nervous, it was such a relief to meet such a happy, cheery and encouraging person.  Stella was great at making me feel welcome and introducing me to as many people as possible, in addition to explaining the way that Athena events work.  It was a really great start, I loved the meeting and didn’t want to go home!  I’m now a member of Athena, partly due to having had such a positive first experience.  Thanks Stella!

Joining Athena has been the real driving force for me setting up on my own as a Financial Adviser.  Being self employed is a lonely, unnerving business and joining Athena gave me the chance to meet and really get to know a lot of local business women who are all in the same boat.  Athena has not only given me more business and leads than any other form of networking or marketing, it has been a very natural process without the expected awkwardness that you find with many networking groups.  Whereby you meet and really get to know each other in a fun environment through regular lunches, one to ones and extra activities, with the business growing naturally from that.

Work aside, I have now extended my social group by about 3 times and can now count many of my fellow Athena members as real friends that will stay with me for a long time.  The leader of the group is the key that pulls everyone together and I would especially like to extend my thanks to Stella Fehmi who works tirelessly with such energy and infectious enthusiasm to make sure that every member feels welcome and part of the group within a short time of joining.  Without her natural warmth and organisational skills the group would not be as close and successful as it has grown to be, thank you Stella.
