Rachel is the Athena Network Regional
Director for the City and West Essex
regions.
As someone who has always enjoyed
building relationships, Rachel is a
natural at connecting people. Since
joining the Athena Network, Rachel has
helped other businesses grow through
networking. By bringing her Athena
members and circle of business contacts
together in friendly but professional
settings, she has encouraged them to get
to know each other better, respect and
trust each other. In this way, new
business opportunities are constantly
being made for each Athena member.
Outside of Athena, Rachel is a qualified
coach, helping organisations support
their female employees through maternity
leave and back to work and helping
professional women with their business
choices when they are planning to start
a family or returning to work.
Being a coach and an Athena regional
director is a really positive
combination for Rachel.
‘My real passion is for helping people
get to where they want to be, to
communicate with confidence and achieve
unlimited success,’ says Rachel with her
characteristic warmth and enthusiasm.
‘My love of helping people to develop
marries brilliantly with supporting
women to grow both their businesses and
themselves within my Athena groups,’ she
continues.
‘My personal values are also satisfied
by my Athena work. Being open, authentic
and having integrity are values that I
hold very close to me. And I love
helping people to make a difference in
their business and personal lives.

‘Being welcoming is key to my meetings,’
Rachel says, ‘as people can often feel
nervous in a new environment. That’s why
we take the time to get to know each
other month on month, building trust by
sharing experiences and offering advice
and contacts.’
