Ladey is a
Christian business woman who has spent
many years at Executive Level in the
Voluntary Sector and as a broker between
the business world and charities. She is
experienced in creating and developing
networks and successful partnerships.
Launching the Athena Networking Group
for Women and enjoying working with
ladies who do business and having some
fabulous lunches – she loves her grub!
Ladey gained a Masters in Business
Administration in 2002 whilst working
full-time as Chief Executive Officer for
Family Matters Institute. She has an
avid interest in how to increase
Management Skills and Leadership
qualities within business and
not-for-profit organizations. She is
an alumni member of The Windsor
Leadership Trust. Ladey believes that
women have much to contribute to
business using their unique ability to
build positive relationships and putting
into practice a naturally co-operative
working approach.
Ladey is Vice-Chairman for Luminus Group
- a leading housing organization based
in Huntingdon, Cambs and an Executive
for Hands Up Holidays Foundation. She
is passionate about philanthropy and is
a member of The Funding Network.
Ladey began the Athena Networking Group
– Lincolnshire after being an Athena
member in another county and
experiencing the benefit to her
business, Paddles Consultancy. She is
therefore, delighted to be part of the
UK’s premier business networking
organization for women and is determined
that Athena Lincolnshire becomes a
vibrant and fast-growing networking
group.
Ladey has two grown up daughters, is
learning to play the Saxophone, and
enjoys playing in Worship Bands, makes
mosaics in her spare-time and has fallen
in love with Lincolnshire and its
people.
