After
10 years in marketing and following
the birth of my second child I
decided I needed to make some major
life changes. I cut several inches
off my hair and dyed it, and
although it changed the way the
world saw me, it didn’t change the
way I saw the world. So I took the
plunge, resigned from my role as a
senior marketing manager and
launched my own venture, Bright
Angels.
Bright
Angels provides bookkeeping services
for individual, small and medium
sized businesses. We take away the
burden of doing the books and allow
people to concentrate on doing what
they do best, whether it’s catering,
providing secretarial services, or
selling IT products.
As a
marketing professional I know the
value of networking and it was
while looking for networking
opportunities for Bright Angels I
came across The Athena Network, and
like the man in the Remington
electric razor advert says ‘I was so
impressed I bought the company’.
My
other passions are my two young
daughters and my husband. In what
spare time I do have I love to run,
anything from 5ks to half marathon
races, and I’m a serial fundraiser
for Cancer Research UK and BLISS,
the premature baby charity. I also
love to ski and I’m a volunteer
photographer for the Milton Keynes
Parks Trust charity.
